ABOUT US

Telewise is founded to develop technologies and products for home networking semiconductor ICs. The initial focus of Telewise is on power line networking. It also plans to apply its technologies to wireless networking.

Leveraging the technical excellence and supply chain advantage, Telewise is well positioned to deliver the best, practical product at the lowest cost. Investors and partners to Telewise include venture capitalists, upstream Asia IC foundries, product manufacturers, IC designers as well as sales and distribution companies.

Telewise is established by a team of seasoned technical and business professionals with proven track records in data communication and networking products.

Peter Chen - Chairman
Mr. Peter Chen co-founded PCTEL in March 1994 and served as CEO and Chairman of the Board from PCTEL's inception to February 2001. He built PCTEL from ground to a US$100 million dollars public company in 7 years. Prior to founding PCTEL, Mr. Chen has over 14 years experience in communication technologies development at Digicom Systems, Inc. (a company which he co-founded), Cermetek and Anderson-Jacobson, Inc. He holds 2 US patents in HSP technology. Mr. Chen has a B.S. in Control Engineering form National Chiao-Tung University, Taiwan, and a M.S. in Electrical Engineering from Arizona State University.
